Hi, Macie Rae here again. I forgot to tell you that I finished my second original. It’s called “Not Ready to Say Goodbye”. It’s about my 17-year-old sister, who will be going to college next year. We are besties! We love to do everything together, like hanging out, watching movies, and going to the beach. The song is about her leaving for college, how I am going to miss her and all the fun stuff we do together. I’m hoping she will end up picking a school that is close to home so I can see her on the weekends. Oh, and I am also a twin. My sister’s name is Kenzie. She plays the piano and sometimes performs with me. She is an unbelievable dancer and competes nationally.
I already told you that I like country music, soft rock, and pop and who my favorite artists are, but now I’m starting to sing and play some jazz, rhythm and blues, ballads, and Disney theme songs. I’m really enjoying the pop stuff, and I’m starting to follow Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Dua Lipa.
Outside of music, I love to play sports and go to football and hockey games. Right now, my favorite sport to play is lacrosse. This year, my club team and I will be playing in two tournaments on the east coast. We have a great team and are ranked #2 in California. The girls on the team are very nice and are fun to hang out with. They are all great athletes. Also, I enjoy hanging out at the beach with my friends. I like to play beach volleyball in the summertime. Volleyball is my second favorite sport to play. I love to eat. I’m not much of a breakfast person, but I love big dinners and deserts. My dad says I need to put on a few pounds. My favorite restaurant is Benihana’s. We go there every year for me and my twin sister’s birthday. And, of course, my favorite movie is The Taylor Swift Movie. I saw her in concert last year and it was awesome!
